Surviving Covid-19

What a year so far and we still have two months of this year to go.

Businesses all over the country have been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic. A few have managed to benefit from the situation however many more are struggling to keep going or worse have had to close the doors for good.

It’s especially difficult to keep any business alive if your sector has been particularly badly hit or has been subject to further lockdown or restrictions.   The commercial property sector, already suffering badly from the demise of the high street amongst other factors, has taken a further blow by Covid-19.

The bottom line is we all need our businesses to move forward to survive - for our livelihood, for our mental health and to ensure our legacy can be passed down to the next generation.

A strategy of redefining your position in the marketplace (however limited your options may be), could be the way forward for small and medium sized businesses.

After all - we are invariably dependant on each other for survival. If one business succeeds then we can all succeed.  Competition is necessary and healthy but lets not forget community and helping one another can also achieve great things.

Stay Safe!
