Entries Now Open for the London Construction Awards 2026

Entries are now open for the London Construction Awards (LCA) 2026, the annual celebration of the projects, people, products and teams shaping the UK's built environment. Entry is free, and organisations of every size, from contractors and consultancies to product manufacturers and individual teams, are invited to put their work forward ahead of the deadline on Friday 11 September 2026.

Why entering matters

For marketing and communications teams across construction and the built environment, industry awards remain one of the most cost-effective ways to generate third-party credibility. A shortlisting or win gives a project, product or team independently judged recognition that can be used across press, social channels, sales conversations and talent attraction, at no cost to enter.

The judging panel is drawn from senior, independent figures across the built environment, meaning recognition carries weight with clients, partners and prospective hires alike. For teams building a case internally for why awards should be part of this year's marketing plan, the London Construction Awards offers a genuinely free, low-friction route to that kind of recognition.

New for 2026

This year's awards have been expanded to 21 categories, reflecting the industry's growing focus on sustainability, building performance and social value, alongside established categories celebrating projects, innovations, teams and achievements across UK construction.

Categories include:

  • Low-Carbon Building Award
  • Energy-Efficient Innovation of the Year
  • Retrofit Project of the Year
  • Digital Construction Team
  • Digital Transformation Project of the Year
  • Women in Construction Initiative
  • Diversity & Inclusion Initiative
  • Career Development Initiative
  • Excellence in Social Value
  • The Occupant Impact Award
  • Marketing Team of the Year
  • Residential Project of the Year
  • Commercial Project of the Year
  • Construction Software of the Year
  • Fire Safety Solution of the Year
  • Excellence in Health and Safety

How to enter

Entry is completely free. Organisations can submit either a five-minute video or a three-page PDF (maximum 1,000 words) outlining their entry, sent to [email protected] and labelled "COMPANY NAME - AWARD CATEGORY". Multiple category entries are welcome, provided each submission is unique to that category. Entrants must be able to send a representative to the ceremony to be considered for the shortlist.

Deadline for entries: 5pm, Friday 11 September 2026

The ceremony

Winners will be announced at a black-tie ceremony on the evening of Wednesday 25 November 2026, at the Platinum Suite, Excel London, the first night of London Build Expo and elementalLONDON. The 2025 ceremony brought together more than 450 industry professionals for an evening celebrating the projects, people and businesses raising the bar across UK construction.

Rachael Shattock, Event Director of London Build Expo and elementalLONDON said: “We're proud to open entries for the London Construction Awards 2026. This year's expanded categories, covering sustainability, building performance and social value, reflect the direction the industry is moving in, and we want the awards to keep pace with that. Entry is free and open to organisations of every size, and I'd encourage anyone with a project, product or team worth celebrating to put themselves forward before the deadline.”
