Steelwork Arrival for Frampton Cotterall Project

Posted by Meraki Architecture Ltd on 22nd December 2020 -

title

After a little delay with the fabrication, the steel frame and engineered joists are being installed at our Frampton Cotterell project.

The building is starting to take shape now and the scale of the rear South facing openings can really be felt, when viewed against the existing bungalow.

The entire back of the house is formed from steelwork to create the large openings and vaulted ceilings at first floor.

Engineered joists have been the favoured option for the floor construction, over traditional joists, down to their improved spans and structural properties.
