Colliers has had the privilege of working with Foster + Partners over the last two years to devise a real estate strategy for the architectural firm’s growing London campus, culminating in the practice leasing space at 50 Electric Boulevard, London.

The firm has completed a deal with Battersea Power Station Development Company (BPSDC) to occupy 48,000 sq ft across three floors in a move the landlord says will "support its continued global growth". The practice will also keep its existing London campus at 22 Hester Road, where it has been based since 1990.

Foster + Partners designed the 200,000 sq ft sustainable offices, which have 2.82-metre floor-to-ceiling heights, openable windows, and access to private and communal terraces. It was also behind Apple’s 500,000 sq ft UK headquarters inside the iconic Power Station, and its concept store at Turbine Hall A.

Tom Marsden, London Offices director at Colliers, advising Foster + Partners, commented: “It has been a pleasure working with both the team at Foster + Partners and the landlord team at BPSDC – it’s been a truly collaborative effort. 50 Electric Boulevard is an exceptional office building in an emerging and iconic location being part of the Battersea Power Station estate. It is a natural choice for the company’s expansion in a neighbourhood that has been their home for many years.”
