The Carrock Group consist of Carrock Design & Build and Carrock Homes Ltd providing a multi award-winning architectural design and construction and property development business based in Cumbria, the Lake District National Park - A World Heritage Site.
We specialise in the construction and sympathetic conversion of old buildings into beautiful new homes.
We are a team of designers, construction professionals and tradesmen who pride ourselves on the exceptional work we produce for our clients across Cumbria, the North of England and beyond. We strive to deliver every project on time, to our clients budget and to the highest expectations.
Our main objective
We offer a complete project management service which takes care of every step of the process for you. This begins with a detailed consultation meeting to capture our clients thoughts, ideas and very often dreams which are then translated through the design development process and into formal planning documents. Selection and supply of quality materials, highly trained construction professionals and specialist tradesmen to work on your project which results in a seamless building experience tailored to your exact specification. Whether it be a new build home or the sympathetic restoration of an old but much loved building, we offer the same level of service and expectation people have came to expect from the Carrock Group.
Formed in 2004 and 2016, we are long term members of the Federation of Master Builders. This year we have won three of the seven categories in the North of England Awards. Taking Best New Home; Best renovation and Best Bathroom. In 2015 we were delighted to win the National award for Best New Home.
We are also members of the Arb; R.I.B.A and Guild of Master Craftsmen.
Over the years we have developed an enviable reputation for lovingly crafted renovations of the Lake District’s finest Lakeland properties, specialising in the sympathetic transformation of listed & heritage buildings. Our trademark is often a carefully balanced blend of traditional materials blended perfectly with oak hardwood joinery, subtly marrying the very best of traditional & contemporary building techniques. Our commitment to preserving and promoting increasingly rare skills are reflected in the way we work.
