What We Do at CFB UK

How do we source the most suitable and competitive finance for our clients?

It all starts with understanding what the client wants their finance to look like. We spend time finding out what our client’s objectives are in the short, medium and long term. This helps us rule out lenders that simply cannot meet these objectives or our client’s requirements.

After this initial discussion, normally over the phone, we can use our knowledge and experience to instantly provide our clients with an indication of what they could possibly achieve. If they accept the indicative terms, we can then move onto the next step.

Gathering information relative to the objective is the next step. Using the specific information you provide, we will put together the proposal and present it in the best way to a select number of lenders who meet our client’s requirements. We then present several of the best proposed terms from those lenders to our clients.

We compare the lender terms against each other and share with our clients our knowledge and experience of these lenders. Our team will discuss the potential pros and cons of each option but it is solely down to our client to make the decision as to which lender they would like to proceed with.

At CFB UK, we won’t advise you on what lender to choose, in fact, we educate and motivate our clients to make the right choices and decisions for themselves. We make sure to source, explain and deliver choices we know are the most suitable options available in the market to match our client’s objective, and involve our clients in these decisions.

The lender options we provide are not driven by how much commission the lender pays the broker, they are driven by the lender’s capability to successfully achieve our client’s objectives. We only charge our client’s a maximum 1% arrangement fee if they accept a credit committee backed finance facility. If they don’t accept it then we don’t receive our arrangement fee.

In simple terms, with every action we take, we aim to achieve a positive client outcome. Our aim is to provide as much help, guidance and support as our client’s require.
