Latest COVID-19 Update

Posted by Foxtons New Homes on 13th January 2021 -

title

Helping our customers begin or continue their property transactions is extremely important to us. Government guidelines for this latest lockdown allow our branches to remain open and the extensive updates to our working practices we put in place last year continue to protect our teams and customers.

Where possible we have converted many roles to remote working, with customer-facing teams at our HQ continuing to work in a COVID secure way.

Our estate agency offices will remain open in order to provide support for our 40,000+ tenants, as well as ensuring customers can still move when needed. In order to ensure our teams and customers remain safe, our offices have taken strict precautions, including:

  • Compulsory safety training for all staff members with ongoing enforcement of these safety measures
  • One-way systems throughout all office spaces
  • Plexiglass dividers in estate agency offices where appropriate
  • Compulsory wearing of face coverings in customer facing areas of our offices where plexiglass dividers are not suitable
  • Enhanced cleaning measures of all areas, surfaces, and property keys

All in-office safety precautions have been endorsed by third parties and our offices are certified as being within COVID-19 safety guidelines.

We are also offering a variety of options for our customers during viewings and valuations, including the option of virtual viewings. Whilst we can reassure customers that any in-person appointments will be carried out with the utmost concern for the safety of all involved, we appreciate that customers may prefer to use our services remotely. Please select the relevant section below for more information on the options available to all customers.

Guidelines for in-person appointments

In order to ensure the safety of our customers and teams, it is extremely important that before an appointment can go ahead we require all customers to confirm that they can comply with our appointment guidelines. If these guidelines are not adhered to unfortunately we will be unable to carry out these appointments.
