Glenny has appointed Luke Thrumble as Head of Planning who has been brought in to head up and grow the planning team.

Joining from DP9 Limited, Luke is an RTPI accredited Town Planner with a wealth of experience spanning both the public and private sectors. In his career, Luke has advised on the development potential of new sites coming to the market, led planning discussions and negotiations with local authority offers at both pre-application and determination stages, coordinated complex planning applications, and provided advice on community infrastructure levy issues as well as negotiating S106 agreements.

As Head of Planning, Luke will work across a broad portfolio of projects across Glenny’s regions where he will be the main point of contact for all planning advice, discussions, and negotiations with clients.

John Baker, Partner at Glenny, said: “Luke is an experienced planner with a strong track record of delivering sound advice and planning solutions. Based primarily in the architecture team, Luke will bring together our planning and architectural services into one department, providing a strong synergy between these two service lines.”

Luke added: “Glenny has a fantastic reputation in the industry and I’m delighted to be heading up its planning function. As a firm, they’re able to provide a suite of solutions throughout the property cycle all under one roof – a huge benefit to clients who demand efficiency and results.”
