Four Former Care Homes Come To Market

Posted by Greenslade Taylor Hunt on 4th June 2024 -

Specialist development land and planning and commercial property experts Greenslade Taylor Hunt are marketing a range of former care sites in Somerset and Cornwall.

The properties in Bodmin, Yeovil, Axbridge and Burnham-on-Sea previously operated as care facilities and could be used for this purpose again, subject to registration with the Care Quality Commission.

However, given the sizeable nature of all four sites they could be suitable for a range of alternative uses subject to the necessary planning consents.

GTH has an in-depth knowledge of the planning system throughout the Westcountry and strong professional working relationships with council planners in the region.

GTH’s experienced planning team can provide prospective purchasers with detailed advice on all aspects of the planning process.

To see the potential of the four properties, which have just come to the market, a series of viewing days are being held at the different venues:
–    Belmont House, Love Lane, Bodmin,
–    The Ferns, St. Michael’s Avenue, Yeovil,
–    Axbridge Court, West Street, Axbridge,
–    Hillview, Berrow Road, Burnham-on-Sea.

Each is on the market at offers in the region of £1.2M. Offers are invited on an unconditional basis and must be submitted by 12 noon on Friday, July 12, 2024.

The first view day takes place at Belmont House on Tuesday, June 11, from 9am-12noon.
