Another Successful Property Investor Show
Posted by Property Investor Show on 7th May 2025 -
Now in its 23rd year, the spring edition of The Property Investor Show on 11 & 12 April proved to be a great success - again!
Against a backdrop of start-of-tax-year cost increases for both UK businesses and individuals and an international outlook not helped by the apparent retreat into isolationism of the US government, an exhibitor list of close to 100 UK & International companies came face-to-face with an enthusiastic audience of 5000+ visitors at the UK's premier venue - London Excel.
As usual, the exhibitor list included representation from all ends of the spectrum – from established giants such as leading UK housebuilder Barratt London and Qatari conglomerate Bin Al Sheikh through to recent startups such as Sacks Properties and Palm Elite Dubai. A broad range of property, finance and ancillary service providers also took their places in the hall.
More important of course than the raw headcount is the quality and motivation of the attendees – a point that show debutant Shahid Aslam of eXp Realty Dubai was keen to stress …
“I had visited this show before and spoken to several UAE companies who strongly recommended participation, but never booked a stand until this year. I was taken aback by the people who came to see us with a serious interest in UAE investment. We are optimistic of completing several sales as a result”.
Endorsing this point, Fabrik Property Group CEO Steve Jacob commented … “There is still plenty of interest in UK investment, but what I’ve noticed in recent years in the increase in investor money flowing to the Middle East”.
Returning to the event after a break from exhibiting, Sacks Properties founder Michael Sacks observed … “It was reassuring to see both a selection of familiar faces and a raft of new exhibiting companies and services on offer – evidence that the event continues to evolve. The attendance was healthy too. On the basis of the people we met, leads we collected and the in-hall reaction to the presentations I gave, we enjoyed what I believe will prove to be a successful couple of days …”
From the novice end of the exhibitor spectrum, further positive endorsement was provided by debutant Bailey Capital Group’s Will Bailey who stated ...“This show is a great way for people to learn about how to get into supported UK housing investments. It was a busy and engaging event that exceeded our expectations”.
Regular visitors know that this event features the largest Seminar & Debate programme presented at any comparable UK event, a feature that long-time regular Dominic Farrell of Distressed Assets was particularly keen to highlight … “Another great couple of days at Excel and, frankly, something we have got used to over the years. It was reassuring to speak to so many people keen to explore new – to them – ways to expand their portfolios. This was evidenced by the Q&A sessions at both Auction debates – and the solus sessions that I presented. The fact that quite a few of them were also keen to buy a copy of my book was a nice bonus - and proof of their good judgement!”
In terms of the calibre of presentation on display, regulars were quick to compliment several exhibitors on their standout stand design efforts. Specific mentions being given to Bin Al Sheikh (below), Next Group LLC and World Corp – Phuket.
