Enter Your Project, Team or Technology for the London Construction Awards!

There is just a month left to enter the London Construction Awards, the annual quest for the built environment’s most innovative projects and products, together with the top individuals, teams and collaborations.

The London Construction Awards, organised by London Build and elementalLONDON, are designed to reward best practice and innovation across the buildings and construction sector. All projects are eligible nationwide, with the ‘London’ in the title simply referring to where the Awards are held. The deadline for entries is September 4th.

This year, the Awards feature additional categories recognising innovation, excellence and best practice across the built environment, alongside the broad range of categories celebrating the people, projects, products and organisations shaping the future of construction.

The London Construction Awards have proved universally popular with the built environment sector in the decade since their launch, and last year saw a record 300 entries across 23 categories.

The winners last year featured some big names from the built environment, including AtkinsRéalis, GSK and Mace.

The Awards will this year feature 21 categories, providing scope for all parts of the built environment supply chain to enter. Categories include Contractor of the Year, Specialist Contractor of the Year, Women in Construction Initiative, and no fewer than three Project categories: Residential, Commercial and Retrofit.

The new categories are Energy Efficient Innovation of the Year, Low-Carbon Building of the Year and The Occupant Impact Award. With London Build and elementalLONDON co-locating at ExCeL London this year, these new categories have been introduced to recognise the breadth of innovation and excellence across the built environment.

This year’s Awards will take place on the evening of the first day of London Build and elementalLONDON at ExCeL London, November 25th, meaning shortlisted entrants won’t have to make a special journey to London for the event. It will remain a black-tie event, continuing the LCA’s reputation as one of the most glamorous Awards in the sector.
