The level site is bound by Blenheim Gardens to the north- east; Minehead Methodist Church to the east; The Avenue to the south; retail outlets to the south-west; and Blenheim Road to the west.
The site comprises of a large, period, stone building with a tiled roof and a range of brick buildings with flat roofs (which we expect to be demolished as part of any proposed development scheme). There are 4no. part- converted self contained apartments, located in the northern section of the property. There is also a small café located to the south-east of the property. The tenancy on the café has ended.
The building was initially constructed to be the town Public Hall and Assembly Room, it is believed to date back to the late 1800’s and has many ‘neo-gothic’ features including pointed arches, high ceilings and ribbed vaults.

The County town of Taunton is 24 miles away to the south east providing access onto Junction 25 of the M5 motorway with mainline rail services to London Paddington in under 2 hours.
