Description
The site offers a good sized plot extending to approximately 0.59 acres (0.24 hectares), and benefits from a range of traditional buildings that are predominantly sandstone with slate roofs. The buildings are in various states of repair with some possibly lending themselves to renovation. There is some excellent stonework and timber trusses that would contribute to a unique barn conversion restoration or the site would lend itself to create new build homes development subject to the relevant permissions. Part of ground floor of the barn to the southwest of the site is not included as part of the title and is owned by a third party.
Planning
The site is within the settlement boundary for Wigton. Planning was granted under application 2/1989/1137 for new build houses in October 1989 and we understand that this has now lapsed.
Professional advice should be sought, and further details can be provided by Allerdale Borough Council planning department.
Mineral & sporting rights
To the extent that they are included within the Vendor’s title.

It is up to prospective purchasers to make their own enquiries with regards to services for the property.
