The Deverell Smith Story
The year was 2006 and the day was April Fools day, Andrew Deverell-Smith was at his kitchen table having just set up “Deverell Smith” when he made his very first placement. Eight months later, Andrew employed Emma Timothy, his first employee and now Director and Head of Property Management.
Andrew’s vision from the very beginning was to become the “go to” property recruitment consultancy for clients and candidates by offering the absolute best recruitment service in the industry. This meant providing a consultative approach to recruitment with a total focus on customer service. The mission was clear; to make introductions that strengthen property companies and advance careers.
As the company has rapidly grown, we have never lost sight of Andrew’s vision and the success of our clients and candidates will always be at the heart of everything we do. Ultimately, we can make a career and change the course of a property business.
