The last 10 years have seen stability in non-residential property transactions.

HMRC's latest report, shows estimates for September property transactions and the news is positive. Figures are based on transactional records and show the results in context of the last 10 years.

The provisional seasonally adjusted count of non-residential property transactions in September 2019 is 2% higher than the same month for the previous year.

Historic non-residential transactions

As with residential transactions, the 2007 financial crisis triggered a fall in non-residential transactions. Although this was less pronounced than for residential.
