Bewley Homes has submitted plans for 350 properties, a community building, a health & wellbeing centre and convenience store at Wash Water, Newbury.

The 22.45-hectare site, known as Common Farm, three miles south of Newbury town centre, falls with the Basingstoke & Deane borough.

The hybrid application is for outline planning permission for the wider scheme along with full planning for the first phase of 90 of the homes plus open space and an access road. Some of the homes are designed for elderly care.

It will include 140 affordable homes.

The team on the project includes RPS on planning and fabrik on landscape design.
