Shojin Property Partners are pleased to offer the opportunity to invest in a purpose built student accommodation block in Nottingham, UK containing 124 student apartments. Nottingham hosts two universities which have campuses within a short walk/bus ride to the property. Construction of the property completed in Q3 2018 and it is fully occupied for this academic year.

Purpose Built Student Accommodation is traditionally a strong and stable investment and in this case provides both dividend income (over 6% expected per year) and capital growth. Nottingham has two top tier universities and has significant demand for student accommodation. It is expected to withstand the effects of Brexit volatility well due to its strong academic performance and global status, which means it will likely continue to attract students from both the UK and abroad.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

The investment comprises the purchase of 40% of the company owning 124 studios in a student accommodation property in Nottingham, UK. It is intended the block will be held for three years with an average expected gross rent of £943k per annum.
