A round up of the South East Construction Expo 2023

The South East Construction Expo included a packed programme throughout the day with seminar sessions including an update from the Bank of England, Green Finance with MHA, the main challenges facing the construction sector, Innovations changing how our world is built including robots, 4 angles of winning more work, as well as Meet ups with the IoD and Sussex Connections members.

The day began with the Networking Breakfast expertly Chaired by Sarra Hawes in partnership with Constructing Excellence Surrey and Sussex, discussing sustainability - From Cost to Profit with viewpoints and discussion with Victoria, Nicola, Brendan and Geoff.

At Lunchtime, the Women in Construction Lunch was hosted with Roni Savage and Kelly Cartwright.

Following a delicious dinner, Martin Smith presented the South East Construction Awards - well done to all the winners.

Best Construction Apprentice - Faris Cooke, Brandon Hire Station

Best Construction Project - WW Martin (Melbourne Avenue, Ramsgate)
