The public can now go inside the Horlicks Factory to view the first show home in the building.

The factory building is being converted into 161 flats as part of a wider 1,300-home development by Berkeley Homes, called Horlicks Quarter.

Ben Ivey, sales & marketing director for Berkeley Homes (Oxford & Chiltern), said: “We are thrilled to have reached such a significant milestone in the transformation of the iconic Horlicks Factory.

“Opening our first show home enables us to showcase the quality of the homes we are creating within this important building.”

The building’s red brick facade has been restored, while internally, the building has been redesigned to feature a large glass atrium which provides light throughout.

Dual aspect apartments on each floor open onto walkways that overlook the gardens below.  A glass lift operates in the atrium and the roof garden offers views including of Windsor Castle.

Due to open in July is a range of residents’ amenities including a games room, concierge, gym, cinema room and dining room.

Later this year will also see the opening of a co-working space in the Clocktower and the rooftop garden. An on-site café and day nursery are also planned with a central piazza for open-air community activities.

Studio, one, two and three-bedroom flats are on sale from £280,000. Some will be available for occupation this Summer.
