New Apart Hotel Agreed on Vacant Site Near Stamford Bridge

Hammersmith fully supports the development of the vacant site of the former La Reserve Hotel, 422-426 Fulham Road, not far from Stamford Bridge.
La Reserve Hotel Fulham Road was previously demolished to create a new hotel with 70 rooms. Due to the decline in travel industry prospects because of the pandemic, the work was not commenced.
Consequently, the land was sold, and the new proposal is for 50 serviced apartments. The new developer is Wy Developments Ltd of Brentford.
Due to its proximity to Stamford Bridge, the committee agreed to impose matchday restrictions on the building work, with none to occur two hours before and two hours after kick-off by Chelsea.
