The Streets of London Sleep-Out is a fundraising event which raises money for homelessness projects across the Capital, giving the support people need to help get them off the streets for good.

This year was the fifth annual Sleep-Out, and the third that the Marsh & Parsons team have taken part in. The event, which took place on Friday 7th October, serves as a reminder of the realities the homeless have to endure every single night.

More than 200 people took part, including 11 from team M&P, wearing their warmest coats, scarves and gloves as they prepared for the night ahead. During the course of the evening, Ian Steuart Fothringham, Director of Streets of London, gave a moving speech about the support the charity provides for those who find themselves homeless, and there was also a performance from The Dohl Foundation, a dhol drum institute in London, playing bhangra music.
