Learn About Us: Coyote Software

title

The Coyote story starts in 2009 with the creation of a fund and asset management business called M7 Real Estate.

From day one, the decision was taken to put technology at the heart of that business. Market research failed to find a technology solution to buy, and without an off-the-shelf product, the only option was to build.

M7 were in a unique position that one of the founding partners – Oli Farago, was a developer with experience in coding software applications.

Oli moved into the basement, grew a beard (which remains to this day) and six months later, version one of Coyote went live.

Over the next eight years, Coyote remained M7’s proprietary in-house software and was developed to support the growth of the business. Growth which saw M7 advance from ten founding partners to a pan-European company with over 250 employees, and €8.5Bn assets under asset management.

Then in early 2017, after more than a million user hours had been logged on the platform, the internal software team leave M7 to create an independent business.

The same team merged with a creative agency at the same time, cementing the marriage between developers and designers. They launch Coyote as a new standalone company and retail Coyote to the wider property market.

Today, Coyote continues to be used by M7 Real Estate, as well as by a growing list of commercial property companies – from small investment managers, through to nationwide property managers and global property companies.

We are part of the RICS Tech Affiliate Program and won the 2018 EG Tech Award for Investment.
Collaboration with other PropTech companies has helped Coyote evolve into the market-leading product it is today. These partner integrations contribute to the success of the commercial real estate ecosystem that is Coyote, and ultimately, deliver further value to our clients.

BUILT BY PROPERTY PROFESSIONALS

Coyote has been built by property professionals, for property professionals.

Yes we know it sounds like a marketing line, but it’s true – and it’s what makes us different.

Every feature in Coyote has been specified by a property professional, and these features have helped to make life easier for many more property professionals since.

Every feature has been developed to solve a pain point; designed to make something faster, designed to make something better. Created out of a belief that there had to be a better way.

Built by property professionals, for property professionals” is as valid today as it was back in 2009. The difference is that today, we work with a community of clients who help us continually co-create new features in Coyote.

New features which benefit all of our valued clients.

OUR LOCATION

Central London isn’t the natural habitat for a Coyote, but it works for us.

Based at The Monument Building in the heart of the City, we’re only a 5-minute walk from Bank station or an even faster 5-minute walk from London Bridge.

Get in touch if you’d like to see a demo of Coyote, chat PropTech over a coffee, or to challenge Greg – our resident champion, to a game of pool.
