Habito Co-Living has officially opened Guildford Plaza – its first UK development.
Representatives from the brand, part of student accommodation operator Host, were joined for a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Mayor of Guildford, Cllr Howard Smith, along with a number of stakeholders.
The town centre scheme, a joint venture with Partner’s Group, comprises 301 apartments across four buildings.
It has a gym, exercise studios, co-working spaces, coffee bar, meeting rooms, private and communal dining areas, cinema, video gaming room and on-site laundry. A programme of social events and workshops will operate.
The development includes 67 rooms available at a discounted market rent.
John Nesbitt, managing director of Habito Co-Living, said: “Guildford Plaza marks an exciting new chapter for us as we expand into the co-living market with our Habito Co-Living brand. “We’ve drawn on our extensive experience in student living to create a luxury-living, community-driven environment, designed for those who want flexibility, convenience, and connection. We’re proud to bring this innovative development to Guildford, which is already attracting strong interest from prospective residents across a wide range of life stages.”
