Cardo Group Acquires Osborne Property Services Limited

Cardo Group’s strategy to build a family of companies to support social housing providers with their maintenance, compliance and retrofit needs continues at pace. The acquisition is set to result in a turnover of over £100m for the business this year.

Less than four months after announcing its acquisition of LCB Group, south-west based building maintenance specialist, Cardo Group, has acquired south-east based Osborne Property Services Limited (OPSL).  

OPSL, established by Geoffrey Osborne Group in 2006, employs over 230 skilled trade operatives, support staff and operational managers. It is a well-respected specialist in the social housing building maintenance sector, operating from the south coast to London and the home counties. It carries out long-term repairs, voids, planned works and total asset management contracts for social housing landlords alongside a wide range of refurbishment and retrofit projects.

Cardo Group CEO, Liam Bevan, commented: “I am delighted to welcome everyone at OPSL to the Cardo Group. They come with a proud history of doing great work in our sector. and I’m confident that, with Vicky and her team, we’ll go from strength to strength. I look forward to working with them all. This acquisition is an important step for us as we continue on our path to build a national footprint.”

Jane Nelson, Cardo Group’s Strategy Director, also warmly welcomed  the OPSL team and added: “This is our second acquisition in the last few months and we look forward to announcing another shortly. This acquisition will result in a turnover of over £100m at Cardo Group this year.”

Vicky Fordham-Lewis has been at the helm of OPSL since 2020 and will remain as Managing Director. She commented: “I am very proud to have been part of the Osborne Group.
